Ink Cisive was established in 2023 and located at 86 Dundas Street West, inside of the O2 Oxygen Bar and Lounge, a growing hub of complimentary services.
Meet Chaz
As a stay-at-home father of 2 young boys, owning a business was never a plan until one day it just happened. Now here I am, nearly 2 years later with a small private studio, where I continue to grow and make it work for my family.
My first experience with tattoos was in having my own done. What wasn’t the best experience always led me to wonder how it could have turned out differently, both in the interaction and in the work itself. I studied this more seriously in 2019, taking up tattooing as a hobby which quickly became a passion. I focused on honing my skills through watching hundreds of hours of YouTube videos and researching the specifics and the science behind the art.
In 2021, I got a proverbial foot in the door and a small taste of the business aspect through a local shop before heading off to the city where I got both the perspective of an artist and supplier. A year later and prepared to settle locally, my next experience led to my becoming a registered business.
Since then, I have overcome and accomplished more than I ever thought possible of myself; I continue to build my skills as an artist and watch my small business dreams come true.
